CoopMatters has grown out of a passion for collaborative business development and collaborative marketing. A cooperative approach to business can improve business marketing, business processes, business models, and even how business is done. CoopMatters was launched in 2014 and has been passionate about these approaches to business ever since.

CoopMatters became an LLC in June, 2022. At that time, two businesses joined, CoopMatters and Kingbird Content. In February 2023, CoopMatters became a worker-owned cooperative.
